Overview

Purpose of Establishment

GRI is the think-tank of Gyeonggi Province and a developer of major policies that contribute to strengthening the cities and counties within Gyeonggi Province, and improving the quality of life for its residents.

GRI is

  • to establish long-term plans for Gyeonggi Province and to do research on major policies
  • to do research on current major policy issues and on institutional improvements of Gyeonggi Province and its municipalities and councils
  • to conduct a variety of research projects requested from the provincial and municipal government, provincial council of Gyeonggi Province and other associated agencies
  • to exchange and collaborate with various domestic and international research institutes
  • to do research on major domestic and international issues pertinent to the development of Gyeonggi Province
